And it can mean circuits or devices using transistors, microchips, and other components.
Most wide-spread term that we use in our everyday life is consumer electronics. Consumer electronics is what we use at home, at work, in hotel, etc. to have fun, take a rest or maybe get some new knowledge. MP3 players, video cameras, photo cameras, computers, laptops, printers, scanners, cell phones, DVD players, TVs and many other related products are recognized as consumer electronics.
The quality of consumer electronics is a very important factor. It defines the time during which your product will be functional and incorporating the latest developments and trends. If your camera or television does not have some sufficient functions, then most probably in a short time you would like to switch it for another camera or TV. And it would be another item in massive waste of electronics. We have to care for quality and for environment at the same time.
