If you receive a call from a salesperson associated with this organization after submitting an online order simply cancel the order and make sure your credit card company rejects any charges.
Example - a Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera body is $2,699. The delivered lens sells for $465.00. Extra battery and memory is in the sub $200 range. Package suggested by FotoConnection (RaplhH) was $3993, a difference of over $600.
The camera arrived in a different box than the original package. Protective coverings on the LCD panels had been removed. The camera had obviously been used and should not have been sold as new. The standard Canon instruction manual/disk/info package had been slit open and the memory that would come with the standard camera removed. Quality of the "extras" such as the tripod and camera bag was abysmal. The email from the salesperson asking for feedback even had a phishing virus!
In this time of recession I'm not sure how a company like this stays in business. The company motto appears to be "You can screw everyone once, more if you try hard."
