camera without memory card

I purcahsed a camera, Canon, from them back in February. ZIt came without a memory card. All they could do was sell me another cqrd or wait until thier claim with Canon is resolved. As of today I still have not receuived a memroy card. This camera was agift for my 74 year old father who I went out and bought him a memory card so he could use the camera. FOtocomnnection are real jerks, they could care less anout their customers, period. I spoke to four or five different people and they all habve the same M.O. "sell them something else"
